Had a great day at Rye Beach last weekend. Actually took the first swim of the season in April! Crazy. Evan had a great time and pretty much ignored me so I think I got some great shots....

Teamed up with John McMahon of JPM Photography last Saturday to shoot Amy and Jeff's wedding at Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, NH. I got to shoot the guys getting ready while John photographed the ladies.

The place is really nice, they stayed in the "guest cottage" with a real nice homey and antiquy feel to it. The reception area has post and beam construction and a seperate room with a fireplace, very nice. The only problem was too many sweets! They were everywhere, chocolate covered strawberries, pastries, cookies, candy. I think I gained 5 pounds working there......

My sister-in-law is starting a nutrition consulting business "NutritionalMerritt" so she needed a headshot....I think she looks pretty trustworthy (healthy too).

Stad Amsterdam arrives in Boston

What a difference a day makes... Went into Boston Tuesday to shoot the arrival of the Tall ship, Stad Amsterdam for Panorama Magazine. The day went from cloudy to sunny and back. Hung out by the pier and just as the ship came closer and closer, it got more and more cloudy... Went back in yesterday and shot it at port in sunnier comditions....I kind of like the darker ones, more dramatic but it's for the June issue so they wanted a "summer" look (sigh)...

Was in Boston Saturday shooting Jen and Andrew's wedding. Great couple, didn't let the rain stop them from having a good time. Jen had wanted to do some shots over by the JFK Librbary near my old alma mater (Umass) but had some fun shots in the Lantana lobby instead. All the best!

Did a Cd cover shoot with country-singer-by-way-of-NYC Paul Cataldo last Friday. We met in Concord and drove around to a few spots I knew of and thought would work. The Cow Pasture right outside the center of town is really pretty and a great place for portraits, it's where the Sudbury and Assabet Rivers meet and become the Concord River. I've always wanted to use the old store building in Sudbury for a picture and what better than a Country-singer pic! Thanks Paul, I look forward to seeing and hearing the new CD. He has a busy schedule in the area so if you get a chance, check him out- paulcataldo.com
