Sunday I was at The Barn at Gibbet Hill for Deb and Jamie's wedding. That is such a beautiful place for a wedding, hard to screw up. It's pretty close to me too which is nice.
They blew everyone away with their first dance, best I've ever seen. They were a regular Fred and Ginger!

Photographed two weddings last weekend. Saturday, I was at Castleton's up in NH. A bit warm but the ceremony was right by the side of the lake and there was a good breeze that helped alot. Fun couple who knew how to enjoy their wedding, best to Michelle and David!

Last Saturday was Alexis and Steve's wedding out in the Berkshires. The ceremony was at Johnson Chapel on the Amherst College campus. I haven't been out there for awhile, it really is a beautiful area and I think it came through in their wedding. People had traveled from all over to be at there, and it threatened to rain during the formals, but everything worked out great.

On another note, I had photographed Steve's sister's wedding at the Orleans Inn (see previous post) last year, and now she and her husband are wedding photographers in Houston TX! Funny how things go sometimes.....

On June 12th I had the pleasure of shooting Carrie and Shawn's wedding on the Cape. Shawn's family owns the Orleans Inn and I've photographed two of his sisters' weddings in the past couple of years. It's SO nice when you know the people your photographing and they have been very generous with giving my name to the brides that come to the Inn for their wedding celebrations. I'll be back at the Inn 4 more times this season! Oh, and the food there is terrific too....

Hi, I've been pretty busy lately (plus my son's on summer vacation and hard to not hang with...) I've also been volunteering with my local Stow TV access channel to learn more about video, and there's alot to learn! I've shot three weddings since my last wedding post so I need to put up some of my favorite images from 'em...Here's some from Amanda and Michael at Tupper Manor, the sword arch outside the church was cool, I like the sun glint on one of the soldiers belts!...

The forementioned company had a party Thursday night for the emplyees at the Royale in Boston. The surprise band was Bare Naked Ladies! They really are funny with all their asides. Got to be right up at the stage for theses shots. Good time...

Shot a book opening event at CDIA last night. The photographer is Ethan Daniels. His book "Under Cape Cod Water" is nature photography of below (and some above) the water. I like these images of him speaking in front of the slideshow. Kinda looks like the turtle is either listening to him, or about to eat him......
